Gluten free chocolate bundt cake

One day I was looking for something to bake and I came across this recipe and as I have been baking gluten free most my life when the recipe I was reading said all purpose flour my mind went straight to gluten free all purpose flour. Turns out that the recipe was for normal wheat flour, but never the less the cake came out so incredibly well using gluten free flour I decided to share it as a gluten free recipe. I changed the baking time slightly and changed it from a regular cake pan to a bundt cake as I found that it came out better that way. This is by far the best gluten free cake I have made as it isn’t dry and is also really easy to make.

Gluten Free Chocolate Bundt Cake:

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup gluten free all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and prepare pan
  2. Stir together dry ingredients(sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in a large bowl
  3. Add in eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla and beat mixture on medium speed for two minutes
  4. Stir in boiling water(the batter will be very runny)
  5. Pour in pan and cook for 50-55 minutes
  6. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes then remove from pan

For the frosting I just made chocolate butter cream. My family and friends love this cake. A problem that often occurs when I make cakes gluten free is they come out dry, but this cake is moist and delicious. Hope you enjoy:)
