Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Too Faced is in my top three makeup brands. They always have such cute packaging and so far I have loved all of their products. Their products are more expensive then something from E.L.F. or maybelline, but their produc…

Outfit of The Day #3

It’s been switching between hot and cold here lately, so almost everything I wear has multiple layers. I was going to have a very active day and decided to go for a sporty look. I wore this outfit all day while walking around, doing some work, and when I went to the gym. I love outfits that are comfortable, I will rarely wear something that is uncomfortable, or that I can’t move around in easily. I wore the black top when I was walking around the mall and had my burgundy sweater with me in case…

DIY Face Mask’s

It’s Fall and my skin hasn’t been great, so I’ve been doing a lot of face mask. In general face mask don’t tend to be very expensive, but if you doing them often it can add up. Outfit of the Day #2

I live in Texas and even though it’s November it’s still 80 degrees outside(not that I’m complaining). In late November it will suddenly become extremely cold and will probably snow. As for right now It’s hard to do Fall fashion when it’s hot outside, so it’s kind of like fall on top and summer on the bottom. I also did a french braid on the left side of my hair.

fullsizeoutput_9d0fullsizeoutput_9d3I saw this car and immediately wanted to take a picture with it.

fullsizeoutput_9d6I took this at the mall and it was a little strange with all the people around, but it was fun seeing everyones reactions.

DIY Fall Decor

All of these DIY’s are fairly simple and I was really happy with how they all turned out. You can get the majority of the supplies at a craft store or you can order it online. This is actually my first time decorating for fall and I probably went a little over board, but I am in love with the decorations and probably won’t want to take them down when spring comes along.

Leaf Garland

Supplies:

  • Fake Leaves
  • Gold Paint
  • String
  • Tape

fullsizeoutput_a2c

Step 1- I taped the leaves to cardboard to make them easy to paint and gave them all two coats of paint.

Step 2- Once dry attach the leaves to a string. I just tape them to an existing garland I had to make it feel like fall. If you want to know how to make the garland you can read about it here.fullsizeoutput_a32

Water Marble Coasters

Supplies:

  • White outdoor paint (you could also use acrylic paint and a sealant)
  • Coaster
  • Nail Polish
  • A container
  • a small wooden stick fullsizeoutput_a2a

Step 1- Paint your coaters white and let dry overnight fullsizeoutput_a29

Step 2- Fill your container with waterfullsizeoutput_a24

Step 3- Slowly pour nail polish into the water and let it spread, but don’t wait to long or it won’t move around easily. fullsizeoutput_a25

Step 4- Using your wooden stick use a light touch to move the nail polish around until your happy with it. Their will probably be some trial and error. Once you have you design ready dip your coater into water and using a cutip pick up all the nail polish that hasn’t gone onto the coater, so it doesn’t ruin your design. fullsizeoutput_a26fullsizeoutput_a27fullsizeoutput_a28

Step 5- Allow to dry and your done. If you want you can also seal it. fullsizeoutput_a53

Leaf Print Pillow

Supplies:

  • White fabric or a white pillow case
  • Stuffing
  • Gold Paint
  • Fake leaves
  • Hot glue gun or something to sew with
  • Black pom pom’s (optional)fullsizeoutput_a50

Step 1- Fold the fabric over and cut out the size you want. I used a pillow I already had to help measure the size I wanted. Since I wanted two I used the first one as a guide foe the second. fullsizeoutput_a3c

Step 2- Glue or sew around the edges, leaving a small whole at the bottom to turn it inside out and. to stuff the pillow. fullsizeoutput_a3d

Step 3- Paint a fake leaf and press it down onto the pillow case. Be generous with the paint and use something like a piece of cardboard to help push the leaf down. Repeat this using different sizes of leafs. fullsizeoutput_a40fullsizeoutput_a43fullsizeoutput_a42fullsizeoutput_a45

Step 4- Stuff the pillows and glue or sew the whole at the bottom. I also glued on black pom pots because I thought it looked really cute. fullsizeoutput_a58fullsizeoutput_a59

Outfit of the Day #1

fullsizeoutput_970It’s thankfully still warm where I live and I am going to enjoy the nice weather for as long as I can. Since it was so nice out my mum and I went to the parkway near my house and I took some photos.

fullsizeoutput_96dPretty much everything I wear is really comfortable and easy to move around in . Trying to jump up on things and moving around a lot doesn’t usually work very well in tight pants or dresses, unfortunately.

fullsizeoutput_965fullsizeoutput_99cfullsizeoutput_99dI had sooo much fun taking these pictures, but afterwards I just wanted to eat and go to sleep. I wore a hoodie from H&M that I got for Christmas, shorts that wear originally jeans, and boots from rue 21. I also decided to French braid my hair as it was really hot that day and I can’t stand my hair being in my face.
