I started breaking out a little over a week ago and it hasn’t been getting better. I bought this mask a few weeks ago and just haven’t gotten around to trying it, but now seems like a good time. It’s pure mud so it doesn’t smell the best, but on the plus side you know it’s all natural. Before putting it on my face I put it on my arm, waited 10 minutes, washed it off, and waited to make sure I didn’t have any reaction or irritation. I was surprised by how well it worked. I’ve only used it once and I already see a slight difference. The biggest plus is it didn’t irritate my skin. I’m going to use it once a week for the next three weeks to see how well it works.
I’ve been using it for two weeks now and I love it so far. When it dries you can see the oil from your pores and it makes my skin feel so good. I have noticed a slight difference and I’m hoping my skin keeps improving.
It has now been three weeks and I absolutely love this mask. I have really bad acne on my right cheek and when I first put on the mask it would sting a little in that area, but it didn’t leave any redness or anything. I have seen some improvement in my skin and will continue using this mask. To me the improvement I saw was definitely worth the eleven bucks I paid. I would rebuy this product, it of course didn’t completely clear up my acne, but I wouldn’t expect one face mask to.

So recently I binged watched a ton of YouTube videos and discovered lip scrubs. I honestly have no idea how I’ve never heard of them before. After I found out about them I started trying different recipes, altered them slightly to my preference, and ended up with too that I really like.
1 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
1 tsp Coconut oil or olive oil
2 drops of honey (optional)I used way to much honey in the batch I made for the pictures, but on the bright side the pictures turned out pretty.
Take all your ingredients and mix them together; once everything is well mixed put your mixture into a small container and you have lip scrub.
1 1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Coconut oil
1 drop of lemon essential oil
Mix everything together, put your mixture into a container, and your done.
Their was a really cute bunny in my backyard while I was taking photos for this post!

Somehow whenever I go to get just a few things from the store I end up leaving with way more then I planned. I recently needed to get more concealer and walked out with notebooks and a few beauty products. Since I got some new products I decided to try them and do a quick review. Translucent Powder- E.L.F. has really good prices and so when I’m at the store I think it’s only $5, or something around their I can totally afford it, and then I walk out with a bunch of makeup products that I don’t need. I’ve never used a translucent powder before this one. I wasn’t a huge fan of the powder, maybe it’s because I’ve never used it before, but it made the concealer under my eyes feel a bit cakey.Usually by the end of the day I have more eyeshadow under my eyes then on my eyelids and truth be told I didn’t think setting spray would help, but I was very wrong. On the first day I tried this I was running around, I was taking pictures outside, finishing some things for school, basically just sweating and really testing this product out. After running around all day I checked my makeup and their was a little mascara under my eyes, but everything else was still in place. I was really surprised by how well this product worked, especially for he price. This will be going into my everyday makeup routine. Dry Shampoo- So while I was walking up and down the isles at the drug store I saw this, it’s a little bottle of dry shampoo. I’ve been looking for a really good dry shampoo and decided to try this one out. It works really well. It gave my hair a lot of volume and it didn’t leave white streaks or specks after using it like a lot of dry shampoos. By the end of the day my hair was looking oily again, but I just put a little more in and the problem was fixed. Their is down side which is it smells like hairspray. This is the first dry shampoo I’ve used that smells like hairspray, usually they have a scent, but the smell did fade a bit after a few minutes. Besides the smell this is one of the best dry shampoos I have used.

I suck at applying false lashes, but I decided to try individuals because I was told that they can be easier to apply. These went on so easily; I was completely shocked. I put four on each eye and you can’t really tell that I’m wearing falsies. They definitely give me fuller looking lashes and are great for an everyday look. I asked my parents if they could tell I was wearing flashes and they had no idea. The other thing I was surprised by was how comfortable they were, I took them off a few hours before I took off my makeup just because I was just sitting in front of my computer at home and when I went to take off the rest of my eye makeup I still had one of them on(at first I just thought my lashes were falling off and freaked out a bit).
They do not come with glue, so you will need to purchase it separately, I just used my E.L.F. eyelash glue and it worked perfectly. I really cannot tell you just how easy these were to apply, I now want to try more from this brand.

Unfortunately summer is almost over, but I still have a little while longer to enjoy the warm weather. I’m obsessed with beach waves and have been wearing them most of the summer. I usually just use sea salt spray, but when I want lots of waves I follow the same steps.
I start by taking a shower and air dry my hair till it’s only slightly damp. I then spray my hair with sea salt spray. Here’s a link on how to make sea salt spray
Then I loosely french braid my hair and let it dry over night
In the morning I let my hair out and leave it for a bit.
Sometimes I’ll use hair spray to make the waves stay better. These pictures were taken in the afternoon and I didn’t use any hairspray. The hair lasted about a day and a half before it lost the waves.
This my last summer post:( I’m about to start back to school post and I’m already missing summer post.

I’ve only used two other pore strips before this, but I’m trying to take really good care of my skin and decided to try these out. The strips are easy to use and since they only stick when their’s water it makes for an easy application.
Before:After:My brother is in town for awhile, so I’m making him my test dummy for a while. He’s a great brother to actually let me test these on him and the results were pretty good. my brother had a few pimples on his nose, those were popped before I placed the strip on his nose for better application. The instructions were easy to follow, but it didn’t pull as much out as other strips. His nose is a little red in the after picture, because I took it right after he used the strip, but the redness went away after a little while. Their is definitely a difference in his skin and in all fairness he doesn’t take incredible care of his skin, so over time using these their would be a bigger improvement.
I also tried the strips after my brother, but not much came out of my nose. I was actually quite pleased by this, as I’ve been working so hard on my skin these past few weeks. I did notice a slight difference, my pores looked smaller and it also took off some dead skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and the strips didn’t cause any irritation, so that is a huge win for me.
I would rate this a 7/10 it’s a good product and if I could change one thing I would make it slightly bigger, so it went on my cheeks as well as my nose. Also it didn’t seem to get the blackheads on the side of the nose very well. They were almost their, but I won’t be purchasing them again. I still like this company and will be trying some of their other pore strips. These particular strips aren’t for me, but if you only a few blackheads, it will probably work really well for you.

I’ve been dealing with cystic acne for about a year and normal mild acne since I was eleven. I’m not entirely sure why my acne got worse so late, I was almost 17 when it got really bad. Even though I started getting spots when I was eleven, I didn’t start washing my face until I was 13 and I stopped when I was fourteen for about a year a half. When my acne started getting worse I started washing my face, but it just continued to get worse. I stated trying different products, though unfortunately nothing worked. A few months ago I decided to start really trying to get rid of my acne. I was always trying to hide my face with my hair and didn’t want my picture taken. Since I have lots of allergies I have to do a lot of research on every product I try and I decided to try a more natural route so I would know what was going into the products I’m putting on my skin. I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do I use two cotton balls and Micellar water to remove my makeup. If I’m not wearing makeup I start my routine by pulling my hair up and washing my face. I’ve been using clean and clear for three years. I’m currently looking for a more everyday face wash that works well for me, but this is what I’m using right now. It leaves my skin feeling clean and I like the smell.I make my own eye cream, it’s just to reduce dark circles and puffiness. I have the recipe hereAfter I wash my face I use rose water as a toner. It’s refreshing and now is one of my favorite steps in my skincare routine. At first I didn’t get the point of using a toner, but I starting noticing a difference in my skin, so I researched why it’s good to use a toner. It is now an essential part of my skin care routine. I read that coconut oil is a great moisturizer, but with some people it clogged their pores, causing more acne. I decided to try it and was really surprised and happy when I noticed improvement(I didn’t really expect it to work).
My skin has been improving and I’m really happy with the way it looks right now. If you have any good face wash recommendations please leave them in the comments as I have been trying to find one for awhile now. All the products in this post are gluten and dairy free, allergies can be very annoying, but its usually easy to find alternatives that work for you.

I have tried a few e.l.f. products before, but I was at the drugstore and decided to test a few more out. E.l.f. has great prices, so if their products end up working well that would be a huge win. I did a review of one of their eyeshadow pallets here.Illuminating Palette: For the price this product isn’t bad, but it isn’t something I would reach for on daily basis. The highlight isn’t bad, but the palette doesn’t have great pigmentation. It looked nice, you just have to use more than you think to get it to show up well. Everyday Lash Collection: I didn’t like these falsies. I won’t pretend to be great at applying false lashes, but I could not get these to stay. No matter how much glue I put on it was not going to stay. I like the look of the lashes, just use a different eye lash glue. The pack came with two different eyelashes, but I only got the ones in the picture to work. They also come with a pair of tweezers to help you apply the lashes. Molten Liquid eyeshadow: The color is actually really nice. I’m thinking about getting the gold one as well because I think it will be perfect for Christmas and winter in general. It blends really easily and keeps its color. I don’t use glittery eyeshadow often because I end up with it all over my face by the end of the day, but this stays in place while still giving you a little sparkle. I was worried that the eyeshadow wouldn’t blend well, but I had no problems. It blended easily and was buildable, probably my favorite product from this haul!Concealer: I got this in ivory and was worried about the shade when I opened it. I almost didn’t try it because it looked to dark for my skin tone, but once I blended it, the color matched my skin really well. I’ve never used a concealer like this one before and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a creamy texture and blends easily. It hides blemishes well and it does help with dark circles though I like to using something lighter to brighten up under my eyes. I think I’ll be using this more often to cover up my blemishes. I’ll especially be using this during the summer as it looks really natural.Concealer on left and liquid eyeshadow on the right

I almost always get ready last minute and end up running around trying to get out the door on time. In my hurry I often grab the same accessories, because their simple, and I know they go together. My favorite sunglasses are from H&M, I got them recently, and they suit my face shape really well. I’ve been wearing them constantly and somehow I haven’t scratched them yet.My grandma gave this purse to me for my birthday and whenever I don’t use a back pack I use this purse. It’s a bit small for everyday use because I carry so much junk around in my bag, but it’s good for most occasions. I don’t wear much jewelry, I just end up fiddling with it the whole time, but I will wear a bracelet or necklace from time to time. I got this chocker from hot topic when I was shopping with a friend and I got the bracelet from H&M while on a trip.Lastly the twill sneakers that are also from H&M. I love them! Their cute and I can still jump and move around comfortably.

White henna is a new trend; it looks a lot like regular henna, but since it doesn’t have henna leaves it doesn’t stain your skin. If you purchase white henna it usually last three to ten days, this can be washed off, but its perfect for sleepovers and photoshoots. I also know a lot of schools don’t allow henna, so this is something you can have for the weekend and get rid of before school. This is not actual henna paste, it’s just a fun cheap way to get a similar look.
What you’ll need:
- Body or face paint
- Elmers glue
- Corn Starch(optional)
- Mix equal parts paint and glue together
- Once mixed pour into baggie and cut a really small hole in the baggie(you can also use a needle to poke a hole in the corner of the bag before you pour the mixture into the baggie)
- Start your design, google and Pinterest are great places to look for inspiration
- Once you have your design sprinkle a little glitter over it. This does dry quite quickly, so I recommend putting the glitter on a you go
- Once your finished dust some corn starch over your design to help it stay a little better.
If you have henna bottles I would recommend using that to create your design, I used a baggie to create this one. This will wash off and even though everything is non-toxic I wouldn’t recommend putting this on your face.
