School is about to start:( Their are great things about back to school like seeing friends and of course stationary! Here are three DIY notebooks
- Makeup sponge
- Sealant if your notebook has a glossy finish
- (Optional) Masking tape
1. Start off by packing your stencil where you want it it tape it down with masking tape.
2. Use a makeup sponge or paint brushy to dab paint on to the stencil and then take the stencil off. If you want a cleaner look lightly dab and do thin layers of paint. If you want the paint to bleed hold the sponge down for longer and only do one coat.
3. Add little jewels and your done
- Scrapbook paper
- Glue (I used hot glue, but elmers glue will work as well)
Instructions: This one is probably the easiest. Just take some scrapbook paper, cut it to size, and glue it down.
- Cross stitch thread and needle
1. Paint your notebook whatever color you want and then once it’s dry seal it2. Their are actually two ways you can do this next step. 1- print out the picture provided, tape it to your notebook, and using a needle poke a hole anywhere their is a dot.
2- Using a pencil lightly draw a pineapple on your notebook and put a dot where your going to go through with the tread3. Then thread your needle and create your design. When I did the outline of the pineapple I went around twice and did every other one. Their isn’t any pacific way you have to do this, as long as it looks like a pineapple you should be good.
4. Lastly I took a black paint marker and wrote hello.
This one reminds me so much of summer and is my favorite out of these three notebooks.

Raspberries, blueberries, and mint:
Instructions: Rinse the blueberries, mint, and raspberries and put them in a container. Pour water in the container and leave it overnight.
Cucumber and lemon: This is great for boosting your immune system, keeping you hydrated, and removes harmful toxins from your body. You can add meant to this one if you would like.
Instructions: Cut up the lemon and cumber and add everything to your container. This one does’t need long, I usually let it sit for half an hour and it’s plenty strong.
Raspberries, cucumber, and mint: It will boost your metabolism and flush out toxins. Its a great detox water to have if your felling a bit sluggish.
Lemon, blueberry, and raspberry: I recommend this one if you feel like your gonna get sick, or it’s flu season. It has lots of vitamin c
Apple Detox water: The apple will act as an energy booster, I like to have it around one in the afternoon when I’m starting to slow down. This drink also bust your metabolism and has lots of antioxidents. You can add a pinch of cinnamon if you want, I personally like it plain, but it depends on you preference.
Instructions: Cut 5 thin slices of a sweet apple(you can add more if you want)add water and let sit for at least ten minutes. If you want it to be stronger make it up the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight.
Water can get a bit boring sometimes and fruit and herbs can add some flavor when I want something besides water to drink. Their refreshing and perfect for summer. I hope this was helpful x
Since the weather where I live has been so nice lately I decided to take some pictures outside; the photos turned out well, but A SPIRDER BIT ME! It wasn’t’ poisons, but I’m terrified of spiders, so I did freak out a bit(by a bit I mean I completely freaked out and spent over an hour researching spider bites on Google).
I seriously can’t believe it has already been a year since I started blogging. I remember the day I started my blog and it feels like I just started my blog. I’m still completely in love with blogging and plan on continuing to blog. I also hit 200 likes! Not much else happened this week, but I have a lot going on next week, so it was nice to have some time to relax.

I’m 18 and want to move out soon so I am learning to drive, I’m completely terrified. As a kid my siblings and I used to race these electric toy cars and when they went to fast they would fly off the track and when I was younger it was hilarious, now the thought of that actually happening completely scares me. I have been driving a few times before, but nothing consistent, now it’s time to learn. My mum took me to a parking lot and I started driving. I didn’t go above 20mph, but it’s still extremely exciting to me! I also managed to park between the lines on my first try!
If you read a lot of my post you will know my brother is in town and I’ve been forcing him to try new products that I review. I love getting to see family, two of my siblings live in a different state and my other sibling is just a few hours away in another town. Since we all live far apart it’s always nice to see them.
One day I became extremely bored and decided to bake. Usually their’s someone home, but with my dad at work and my mum out of town I had the house to myself and went a tad over bored. I made macarons, small cakes, and cake pops. The only problem is I don’t partially like sugary things(I know I’m crazy), so my family is trying to make their way through lots of sweets. Everyone in my family except my dad doesn’t eat gluten, so a lot of recipes don’t turn out very well, but after some trial and error they usually get their, If you want me to post some recipes please leave a comment below because I love to bake and am always looking for an excuse to.
I also moved! I’m still in the same town, but I just moved from an apartment to a house. I honestly miss the apartment. Don’t get me wrong their are definite perks to a house; neighbors don’t wake you up as often, I don’t have to walk my dogs as often because we now have a backyard, but their are lots of things I do miss. Two major things I miss are definitely the pool and the gym, especially since its summer. I got extremely lucky to have those things and where I’m living seems like a nice neighborhood. I still have a lot to unpack, I’m defiantly procrastinating. I did get to paint my bedroom, which is something I haven’t been allowed to do since I was 14!
I’m enjoying the summer weather and got a slight tan though I’m still the palest one in my family by a long shot. I usually just burn no matter how much sunscreen I put on; won’t stop me from laying by the pool though, just won’t be their more than an hour unless I want to look like a tomatoe for a week.

Summer has always been one of my favorite seasons. The warmth, getting to see friends, and I tend to travel more during the summer. I’ve traveled almost every summer since I was five and always loved it! I have so many great memories from summer and hopefully I’ll make some more this year. This is also my first summer as an adult(if I can be considered an adult). Is 18 an adult? I feel like at 18 you’re in-between being a teenager and an adult, but that’s not what this post is about, sorry I tend to ramble. Here are a few things I will be using constantly throughout this summer!
Swimsuits- I love spending my summer by the pool, so swimsuits are an obvious must
Polaroid Camera- I’m planning on taking lots of cute shots this summer!
CC or BB cream, E.L.F. concealer, and Too Faced Funfetti blush- These are great for creating a natural summer look
Sea-salt spray and Hair rings- Beach waves and braids are two of my favorite summer hairstyles and these just help achieve the perfect look
Shorts, Flip flops, and Foot jewelry- I only recently started wearing four jewelry and now I’m obsessed with it. It’s the perfect accessory to complete my summer look. During the summer I practically live in shorts and flip flops are my go-to for when I’m heading to the pool.
Sunglasses- I have really sensitive eyes and without sunglasses I will spend the day squinting. I also just love sunglasses and probably have way to many pairs
Sunscreen and Sunhat’s- I burn extremely easily, so I try to be really careful, and make sure I have sun protection. Tanning doesn’t work for me, instead of getting a sun-kiss glow, I end up looking like a tomato threw up on me. Weather you burn easily or not sunscreen is a good idea.

I’ve been dealing with cystic acne for about a year and normal mild acne since I was eleven. I’m not entirely sure why my acne got worse so late, I was almost 17 when it got really bad. Even though I started getting spots when I was eleven, I didn’t start washing my face until I was 13 and I stopped when I was fourteen for about a year a half. When my acne started getting worse I started washing my face, but it just continued to get worse. I stated trying different products, though unfortunately nothing worked. A few months ago I decided to start really trying to get rid of my acne. I was always trying to hide my face with my hair and didn’t want my picture taken. Since I have lots of allergies I have to do a lot of research on every product I try and I decided to try a more natural route so I would know what was going into the products I’m putting on my skin. I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do I use two cotton balls and Micellar water to remove my makeup. If I’m not wearing makeup I start my routine by pulling my hair up and washing my face. I’ve been using clean and clear for three years. I’m currently looking for a more everyday face wash that works well for me, but this is what I’m using right now. It leaves my skin feeling clean and I like the smell.I make my own eye cream, it’s just to reduce dark circles and puffiness. I have the recipe hereAfter I wash my face I use rose water as a toner. It’s refreshing and now is one of my favorite steps in my skincare routine. At first I didn’t get the point of using a toner, but I starting noticing a difference in my skin, so I researched why it’s good to use a toner. It is now an essential part of my skin care routine. I read that coconut oil is a great moisturizer, but with some people it clogged their pores, causing more acne. I decided to try it and was really surprised and happy when I noticed improvement(I didn’t really expect it to work).
My skin has been improving and I’m really happy with the way it looks right now. If you have any good face wash recommendations please leave them in the comments as I have been trying to find one for awhile now. All the products in this post are gluten and dairy free, allergies can be very annoying, but its usually easy to find alternatives that work for you.

I almost always get ready last minute and end up running around trying to get out the door on time. In my hurry I often grab the same accessories, because their simple, and I know they go together. My favorite sunglasses are from H&M, I got them recently, and they suit my face shape really well. I’ve been wearing them constantly and somehow I haven’t scratched them yet.My grandma gave this purse to me for my birthday and whenever I don’t use a back pack I use this purse. It’s a bit small for everyday use because I carry so much junk around in my bag, but it’s good for most occasions. I don’t wear much jewelry, I just end up fiddling with it the whole time, but I will wear a bracelet or necklace from time to time. I got this chocker from hot topic when I was shopping with a friend and I got the bracelet from H&M while on a trip.Lastly the twill sneakers that are also from H&M. I love them! Their cute and I can still jump and move around comfortably.
